Pesan Error 404 Not Found
Sobat, dalam sehari saya di stresskan dengan pesan error 404 not found. Alhamdulillah, pada pukul oo.oo WIB ketemu jawabannya setelah bangun dari tidur. Hasil search dari mbah google, apa yang di maksud dengan pesan 404 not found. Sebenarnya itu kesalahan dari saya sendiri yang mengubah permalink posting, dan ternyata di server tidak terdaftar. Jadi makanya muncul pesan 404 not found. Dan saya kembalikan lagi ke posisi setting awal, Alhamdulillah bisa lagi.
Sebenarnya apa yang di maksud pesan tersebut ….
Pesan yang saya alami termasuk ringan, di mana penjelasan 404 not found artinya :
Pertama :
- Data di database sebelumnya sudah ada, namun sudah dihapus atau dihilangkan dari database server.
- Terjadi gangguan akses Internet atau down
- Jika akses Internet tetap gagal, maka kemungkinan halaman tersebut memang tidak ada
- Terjadi kesalahan penulisan alamat URL
Kedua :
Artinya halaman yang anda cari tidak ditemukan diserver. Hal ini bisa terjadi karena halaman yang diminta dihapus atau dipindahkan atau juga diganti namanya.
Berdasarkan dua pengertian hasil search sama mbah google akhirnya saya temukan jawabannya. Dan saya setting ulang, karena bisa jadi kesalahan yang saya lakukan adalah mengubah alamat halaman yang sudah di indeks oleh server. Akhirnya muncul pesan error. Setelah saya cari-cari ternyata di setting permalink posting…
Seharian bikin stress karena kesalahan sendiri…
Mungkin ini saja sobat, yang bisa saya share mengawali bulan Oktober sudah seperti bulan November Rain, sebab lagi hujan nih. Mudah-mudahan bermanfaat bagi sobat yang belum mengalami dan yang sudah mengalami kesalahan seperti saya.

maaf mas sedikit mengkoreksi, menurut SEO yang benar harusnya setting permalinknya adalah di custom aja contoh di permalink setting pilih custom lalu set : /%category%/%postname%/ lalu save setelah itu akan muncul .htaccess code copy lalu pastekan di root directory blognya mas. gitu aja semoga membantu biar lebih SEO friendly

Masalah yang pada akhirnya mendatangkan hikmah. Mas Wien jadi tahu toh apa maksud error 404…

kemarin sy nemu plugin yg bisa ngakalin error 404 not found akibat salah addres/broken link jadi bermanfaat,
Sy masih uji coba, sampai theme berantakan … hehehehe
