Pilih Mana ? HP Modem or USB Modem
Sobat koneksi internet menjadi sebuah kebutuhan. Apalagi yang hobie online baik ngeblog maupun facebook , chatting dan yang lain-lain. Mau online ke warnet membutuhkan biaya yang tidak sedikit dan lagi kalo warnetnya penuh harus cari kesana-kesini. Apalagi sudah lama ngga update blog, wah bisa bikin berabe tuh…betul tidak ?
Akhir-akhir ini banyak operator seluler yang menawarkan berbagai produk onlinenya,mulai dari yang berbentuk hp modem, pulsa gprs, dan sampai modem usb dan produk kartunya. Anda akan memilih yang mana ? atau ada beberapa kriteria yang mesti anda pilih sebelum menentukan sebuah produk untuk aktivitas online anda. Karena salah memilih akan bernasib kurang baik, sebab tidak semua orang suka beraktivitas online.
Baik kalau begitu, Apa yang menjadi pertimbangan anda untuk memilih produk yang menunjang aktivitas online. Tentu saja ada beberapa pertimbangan yang menjadikan anda tertarik untuk memilih produk tersebut. Menurut saya pribadi ada 2 hal yang menjadi pertimbangan, yaitu mengenai harga dan kualitas koneksi tentunya.
Dari segi harga, sudah kelihatan sekali bahwa hp modem lebih murah di banding dengan usb modem. Kisaran harga ga terlalu jauh, akan tetapi kalo usb modem harus membeli kartunya yang harganya agak mahal. Kartu tersebut sesuai dengan kebutuhan koneksi yang diinginkan mau yang harga bulanan unlimitted atau yang prabayar seperti pulsa. Sedangkan hp modem sudah langsung paket mulai dari kartu, cd driver dan usb, tinggal pake dan ada bonus gratis internet unlimitted selama 6 bulan jika setiap isi ulang Rp 50.000. Bukan promosi lho karena saya hanya pernah nyoba aja, bukan dari pihak selluler.
Dari segi kualitas koneksi, keliatannya inilah kelebihan dari usb modem. Sebab hp modem membutuhkan sinyal selluler yang bagus untuk mendukung koneksi, jika daya tangkap sinyal jelek maka koneksi juga lambat. Apalagi jika di daerah anda belum ada pemancar selluler tersebut, jadi percuma kan ga ke pake. Ketika saya coba share di facebook ada beberapa jawaban seperti ini…
Ya apapun pilihan anda mari kita share kan di sini. Karena semua itu pasti ada kekurangan dan kelebihan. Jadi kira-kira menurut sobat bagaimana… pilih hp modem atau usb modem. Saya tunggu partisipasinya… di kolom komentar..

Mas Wien, saya pemakai usb modem IM2 unlimited yang bayarnya 100 ribu/bulan. Masalahnya, setiap minggu ke-4 seperti sekarang, koneksi sangat amat lambat sekali (sekrg saya lagi di warnet nih).
Hp modem belum pernah nyoba…

Kalo di rumah dan di kantor saya sudah kadung nyaman pake speedy, walau harus tusbung ketika hujan. Namun untuk keluar saya pake yang USB modem. Kalo pake HP belum pernah, maklum HPsaya jadul gak bisa koneksi he he. Trims beberapa pertimbangan di artikel ini. Salam
